Here, we review some of our most frequently asked questions, answers that should put your mind at ease while, at the same time, informing your understanding of how effective management, when properly implemented, can transform the value of your investment.

When and how do I pay my rent?

Rent is due on the first day of each month. Rent may be mailed to our office at Golden Assets & Property Management, LLC, or it may be delivered directly to our office. Office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except all major holidays. Note: We accept money orders, personal checks or cashier’s checks, ONLY. No Cash!

What if I am late paying my rent?

Rent is due on the first day of each month. Any payments received after the 5th of the month are subject to late fees. No personal checks will be accepted after this date. All rent must be paid via Money Order or Cashier’s Check. Please refer to your lease for late fee amounts.

Can I change the locks on the doors?

Yes. A copy of the key must be given to Golden Real Estate & Investments, LLC upon completion of the lock change.

What if I get a pet after I sign the lease?

First, you must call Golden Real Estate & Investments, LLC. to confirm that the owner of the property will allow a pet. Next, you must fill out a pet application and must receive approval prior to accepting the pet. If approved, we will collect a $250.00 refundable pet deposit for each approved pet. If a pet is discovered at your property without prior consent, your lease is subject to termination, your security deposit is forfeited in its entirety and the applicable pet fee plus any damages will be assessed.

What if I break my lease?

If you must break the lease before its expiration date, be advised that you are still responsible for paying rent until new tenants are found, the security deposit is forfeited in its entirety, and you are responsible for any damages, repairs, and late fees.
